The “Animal Farm” wants to become “Eurasia”: Russian authorities mistakenly published a suicidal confession

A lot has happened in recent days — heroic and tragic events. Russian planes were shot down and tanks are burning, Ukrainian cities and schools shelled by missiles.

Another crucial event happened yesterday morning, not in Ukraine, but in the cozy office of Russia's state-run RIA Novosti news agency.

On Saturday, a part of the Russian military machine — the «state press» — slipped. They published an article with the wildly revealing title: «The Russian Offensive and the New World».

It came out at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, and was soon removed from the site. Yet, it managed to be indexed in the web archive and is available at the link.

Evidently, the author of the article wrote it in advance. We know from military prisoners' video interrogations that, according to Moscow's plans, by that time (48 hours after the open attack on Ukraine by Russia and Belarus) our country should have already capitulated. So the author wrote about it as a fait accompli: «Ukraine returned to Russia».

Yet something went wrong, as has been the case for thousands of things these days. The author could not have imagined that Ukraine would stand and fight. The author did not anticipate that what he wrote as a victory speech and ideological justification of the seized borders would be a true suicidal confession.

After reading it, everything becomes clear to everyone: what is happening today is not a «conflict between Russia and Ukraine». It is an attack on the modern world, it is an attempt to reshape the entire human civilization in its present form by brute military force and bring it into conformity with an imperial illusion, which the author unashamedly calls the «new world».

Anyone who has read Orwell would find in this text the clear outlines of this new world: the «Animal Farm» has proclaimed its intention to become «Eurasia».

Therefore, the truth is that Ukraine is now fighting one-on-one against Animal Farm. Ukraine is defending the entire modern world from Orwell's dystopia.

The author was firmly convinced that at 8 am on February 26, 2022, Russia would be victorious — and as we know, the winner is always right. But something went wrong — as it has thousand of times that day. And what (maybe!) would be forgivable for a winner turns into a confession.

Currently, Russia is by no means a winner, and Moscow understands this quite clearly. Hence why they quickly and fearfully took down the publication.

After this leak from Moscow's crooked propagandists, it should be obvious to anyone who doesn't want to live in an Orwellian dystopia: this is not merely a war between Ukraine and Russia.

This is a war between Russia and the World, the world that does not want to live in an Orwellian dystopia.

«Don’t look up» is a choice for some people. Except, Ukrainians can't afford it. Now we have to stand and fight. Not for ourselves, but for the whole modern world.

Though, the main question for today is: how will you help Ukraine in this decisive battle?
